The temptation of Jesus - Matthew 4: 1-11

Matthew 4: vs1-11. After the amazing moment of Jesus' baptism, the spirit go God leads Him into the wilderness, He spends 40 days and nights praying and fasting; drawing close to God at the start of his earthy mission. After 40 days the devil comes to tempt him. Jesus knows His mission, He knows why He is here and He stands firm on the word of God, battling Satan with the Work of scripture.
