We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore faith, ask questions, and share their point of view.
Alpha is a place to ask the big questions of life. Connect with others online to watch a series of episodes and explore the Christian faith together.
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, typically run over eleven weeks. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. This course is run all around the globe, and everyone is welcome.

Whether it’s a group of friends gathered around a kitchen table, or a quick online catch-up, times of connecting are important. It’s no different at Alpha. Our sessions start with a time to connect, relax and build friendships over a virtual cup of tea.
The talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Each talk is around thirty minutes long and played as a video. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions from Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith? to Why and how do I pray? and How does God guide us?
One of the most important parts of any course like this: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and discuss in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously). It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
Steve and Claire lead our Alpha team, and have enjoyed being part of various Alpha, and Christianity Explored, courses over the years. Each course is different – depending on who joins, and the questions they have – and Steve and Claire love hearing all the different questions, and looking into the meaning of life together.
