Get Involved

One of the best ways to get involved in the church is to join a serving team.

We believe that everyone has a part to play in the church, so that it can be everything God intends it to be. Serving is an opportunity to participate in church life and make a contribution through your gifts, skills and time.

Jesus of himself said “even the Son of man came not to be served but to serve”. Serving others is a key way we can keep Christ central in our lives honour him as we honour and serve each other.

Here are some of the ways you can get involved on a Sunday Morning:

Our Hospitality Teams work hard to make sure you have a nice welcome when you arrive, somewhere to sit, and a coffee to drink while you stay around to chat.

Tea & Coffee

Norman and Beverly head up this team which provides vital hot-drinks and snacks after the service.

Set Up Team

Andrew heads up our Set-up team ensuring our Sunday services are able to happen and that you have a chair to sit on.

Guest Team

It’s so nice to receive a friendly welcome on a Sunday morning! Aaron and Lydia lead this team, get in touch if you’re interested in being involved.

Our Worship Teams work together to enable the church to give glory to God. Beyond just playing instruments, these teams display the song words, control the sound system and lead us in praise.

We are always looking for a steady hand to help with visuals, including song projection and notices. Sam and Hannah lead this team.

Worship Bands

Paul and Katie lead the Worship Bands. If you play an instrument or sing then we’d love to hear from you.

PA Team

Tom heads up our PA team. If you have experience in PA or you are keen to learn we’d really like to hear from you.

We value children and everything they have to bring to the church, and want to provide a safe and fun environment for them to grow and develop their own personal relationship with Jesus.

Led by Yvette and Alison, this team cares for our youngest members on Sunday mornings and at other church events. Every Sunday the little ones have free play, snack time, craft and baby praise, this is a really fun place to be!

During our Sunday service the Discoverers (aged 3 years, to School Reception age) are making crafts, learning about God, and praising him together. This team is led by Sue.

Our Explorers caters for children aged from School Year 1 to Year 2. If you’re full of energy and love fun, games and Bible stories, then Kate wants to hear from you. This group spends some of their session with the Adventurers, gaining insight and building friendships with the older children.

Our Adventurers cater for children aged from School year 3 to Youth age. Adventurers spend some of their session supporting the Explorers, encouraging the younger children.  If you’re full of energy and love fun, games and Bible stories, then Kate wants to hear from you.

Our Youth work is aimed towards the young people in Secondary School. Jason and Temi head up this team, supporting and guiding our youth as they become young adults.
