From Series: "Exodus: Gathered for His glory"

Exodus documents the first corporate (gathered) encounters with God, as the people of Israel are called out of Egypt, God sets them apart, to be a distinct people. They are the only people out of all the nations of Earth, that God has chosen to reveal Himself to and presence Himself with.
