EXODUS 33: 18-23; 34: 5-9
God's glory descends and passes by in front of Moses. Moses is desperate to see the glory of God and know more and more of His presence. There are some conditions though, because no one can see God in all His fullness and live. Moses is shielded, as he sees the glory of the Lord pass before him. As he sees Him, more truth of who God is gets revealed to Moses.

Exodus documents the first corporate (gathered) encounters with God, as the people of Israel are called out of Egypt, God sets them apart, to be a distinct people. They are the only people out of all the nations of Earth, that God has chosen to reveal Himself to and presence Himself with. As we gather this term and explore the book of Exodus, we are to behold God and experience something of His glory, our gatherings are to reflect a distinctiveness ofGod's presence so that lives are transformed by encounter.
