The church in Philadelphia is the next to receive Jesus’ words. Here, their witness to the gospel is the focus. Jesus, as the one who holds the key of David, has opened the door to all who put their trust in Him. The Gospel has gone out to all nations, but they have shut the door on some. How can they conquer as witnesses to Christ? How can they grasp the Gospel for all that it is worth and take it to all that it is for? Through Revelation: Revealing Jesus, Creating Conquerors, we'll be opening up and exploring Revelation 1-5. The book of Revelation, written by John, is the revelation (you guessed it!) of Jesus Christ, for the glory of God. In Revelation 1-5, we see John’s Vision of the Risen Lord, the letters to the seven churches of Asia Minor and we finish with a glimpse into the Throne Room of Heaven.
