Revealing the Exalted Christ: Revelation 1:9-20
John sees Jesus. The last time John saw Jesus He was being lifted up, taken out of sight and into the heavens. Now he sees Him in all His glory; the risen Jesus, with hair white like wool, feet like bronze and with the sword of the word of God coming from His mouth. His face like the sun at full strength. The revelation continues as John sees the reality of who Jesus really is.

The book of Revelation, written by John, is the revelation (you guessed it!) of Jesus Christ, for the glory of God. In Revelation 1-5, we see John’s Vision of the Risen Lord, the letters to the seven churches of Asia Minor and we finish with a glimpse into the Throne Room of Heaven.
