Why are we still waiting for Jesus to fix the world?
Matthew 13:24-43 When the whole world is still wrecked by evil people, it can seem like Jesus didn't do much to change the world. Jesus tells us that although his judgement between people will be delayed until the end of the age and we must wait, it will surely come. In the meantime, although his Kingdom looked small to start with and often feels overlooked today, it is growing to maturity to bring the world home in him. As Jesus speaks, he is telling the ancient story of Israel’s scriptures and showing how they are fulfilled in him.
